Ho Chi Minh City to Angkor Wat
Direct flights land at Siem Reap–Angkor Airport. The overland route crosses at Bavet / Moc Bai and then takes National Road 6 the length of Cambodia, which is a long day plus the border. A Cambodian e-visa or arrival arrangement has to be sorted before the bus, and the Angkor Pass is a separate purchase after you land.

Ways to go
| Mode | Cost range | Duration | Booking notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flight | $50–$180 | 4 h | About one hour in the air on a direct flight, then immigration and a transfer to the temple. Door to door is closer to half a day. |
| International bus | $25–$45 | 14 h | Via the Bavet border. Delays are the border, not the highway. You still finish in Siem Reap town. |
| Private car with border crossing | $150–$280 | 11 h | Only worth it for a group. Confirm the operator can clear both sides, and budget a separate Cambodian visa fee. |
