Cambodia Flag Temple
The white silhouette on the Cambodian flag is Angkor Wat, the only building on a national flag. It was the state temple of Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, dedicated to Vishnu, and it is still a working Buddhist site as well as the country's best-known monument. The flag shows the five towers and the long western approach. Seeing the real profile means standing back on the west causeway, not only climbing the central tower. Entry is the Angkor Pass, bought from Angkor Enterprise, not at the gate.
