Tomb Raider Temples

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider filmed at Ta Prohm in 2000, in the courtyards where silk-cotton roots already covered the galleries. That one monastery, built by Jayavarman VII for his mother in 1186, is the temple people mean by the Tomb Raider temple. Beng Mealea is wilder and less restored, but it is not the film set. Ta Prohm sits on the Small Circuit and is covered by the Angkor Pass.
