Jungle Tree Temples
The conservators of Angkor cleared most temples back to bare stone. A few were left with their largest trees as part of the visit. Ta Prohm is the famous one, on the Small Circuit. Ta Som has a single fig splitting the east gate, and it is quiet. Beng Mealea, an hour east of town, is the one that still feels lost, and it has its own ticket. Go at opening if the trees are the photograph you came for.
